4 kidnapped employees of Customs Dept. killed in Farah
FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Four workers of the Customs Department have been killed after being abducted by Taliban in the Shebkoh district of western Farah province, officials said on Saturday.
Kidnapped on their way to the Sheikh Abu Nasr Farahi dry port on Friday in Du Kala area, they were killed in Sartam area neighbourhood in the evening, district chief, Abdul Rahim Haidari, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The deputy head of security guards, Mir Aqa, a soldier, a cook and a driver of the department were among the victims, he said.
The governor’s spokesman, Jawad Afghan, confirmed the killing of the four Customs Department staffers. The Taliban have so far issued no comment on the incident.
