Policemen among 9 wounded in Ghazni blast
GHAZNI (Pajhwok): At least two policemen and seven civilians were wounded on Sunday when a roadside bomb hit two police vehicles in southern Ghazni province, officials said.
The blast ripped through two police pick-up vehicles in the afternoon in the vicinity of the 2nd police district of Ghazni City, the provincial capital, Deputy Governor Mohammad Ali Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said two policemen and two civilians were wounded in the blast. “The explosives were in a bag that was exploded by a remote control.”
However, Dr. Baz Mohammad Hemat, the provincial hospital head, said they had admitted seven wounded people in the hospital. They included two women, a child and four men, he added.
