Bullet-riddled body of teenager found in Badghis
QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): Police in Qala-i-Naw, the capital of northwestern Badghis, province found the bullet-riddled body of a 17-year-old boy on Wednesday.
Deputy police chief Abdul Azizi Amani told Pajhwok Afghan News the boy, a resident of Qala-i-Naw, had been kidnapped some days ago. The victim worked in a local bakery.
He said initial investigation suggested the teenager was first taken to the Shtar Gardan locality by two of his friends. Later, he was shot to death, the police officer added.
The two suspected killers, who also allegedly raped the boy before killing him, had escaped the area but police had launched a hunt for them. Two worker of the bakery are also under investigations.
