Another 3 Afghans killed in Syria clashes
KABUL (Pajhwok): Another three Afghan nationals have been killed during clashes in Syria few days ago, a media report said on Friday.
Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported that at least five Iranians and three Afghans have been killed in Syrian clashes over the past few days.
The news agency identified the Iranians killed in Syria but did not name the slain Afghans and did not provide details about how they were killed.
Western media say Iran had already sent hundreds of troops to northern and central Syria, after reports that up to 2,000 are to be deployed. Iran says it provides military consultant for Bashar Asad regime.
At least three commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have been killed in Syria including Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani who was killed in Syria on Oct. 8.
