20 projects worth 20m afs inaugurated in Wardak
MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Twenty development projects have been completed at a cost of nearly 20 million afghanis in the central province of Maidan Wardak, officials said on Wednesday.
The projects were executed over the past three months with financial support from the National Solidarity Programme (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD), the governor’s spokesman said.
Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News the projects included three community halls, construction of five roads, as many Karez systems, wells, three water channels, small bridges and toilets.
He said the projects benefited 2,000 families of Behsud district. At the inauguration ceremony, provincial council head, Ahmad Jafari, said problems of the area people would be resolved.
