Taliban offer ceasefire in quake-affected areas
A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, on Friday said if they were attacked in affected areas, they would only defend themselves; otherwise they would not carry out any attack.
The 7.5 magnitude quake killed 115 people and injured 556 in nine Afghan provinces, damaging 7630 houses, 20 Masajid and nine government buildings on Monday, according to Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) officials.
The process of aid distribution among quake-affected people is ongoing across the country.
