Midnight quake jolts Kabul, wakes up people
KABUL (Pajhwok): A moderate earthquake jolted parts of the capital Kabul midnight and woke up the residents from sleep, but had no damages and casualties.
The few seconds quake took place around 2:30am Saturday night and was moderate compare to the previous quake that took place on October 27 that left 118 people dead and more than 540 injured.
A large number of Kabul residents in social networks expressed their concern about the quake and safety of their friends.
Mohammad Halim, a social network user said, “I woke up by the quake, it was a mercy from Allah I am safe, it was not so strong, I hope all my friends are safe,”
Rahmatullah, another social network activist said that the shake of the earthquake was strong but caused no damages and casualties.
