1500 sit exam in Sar-i-Pul for teacher posts
SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): More than 1500 high school graduates and bachelor’s degree holders on Thursday sat a test to be appointed as teachers in northern Sar-i-Pul province, officials said.
Education director Abdul Ghafoor Sar-i-Puli told Pajhwok Afghan News of the more than 1500 participants, 1300 would be appointed as teachers in six districts of the province.
The exam was successfully conducted without any irregularities, said the Ministry of Education’s representative, Gulab Shah Shakiri.
He said the result of the test would be declared in next four days.
Governor Mohammad Zahir Wahdat said the test was conducted at the governor’s office due to security concerns and for the sake of transparency.
