3 rebels blown up by own explosives
JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three rebels, including two foreigners, have been killed and one wounded by the mine they were planting in the Kot district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Sunday.
The incident took place late on Saturday in the Jalgondi locality, Police Spokesman Col. Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Militant have not yet commented about the incident.
Separately, police have recovered 27 kilogram opium and arrested one suspected in southern Ghazni province, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.
