Kabul backs global anti-terror coalition: Muslimyar
The Senate chairman was speaking at a plenary meeting at the Russian Federation Council upper house of parliament. "We welcome and support the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin on a truly coordinated fight against terrorism and the creation of an international coalition against it," Muslimyar said.
He expressed confidence that only coordinated international efforts could save the world from the scourge of terrorism.
The Afghan lawmaker said that the time has come for "all to agree on a common definition of terrorism and stop using terrorism as a means to achieve their strategic goals."
Muslimyar also expressed condolences to Russia over the crash of Russia’s A321 airliner in Egypt. He expressed the hope that the incident with the Russian bomber downed by the Turkish Air Force on November 24 "will be thoroughly investigated."
