NATO drone crashes in Koh-i-Sapi district of Parwan
CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): An unmanned aerial vehicle of foreign forces has crashed in the Koh-i-Sapi district of central Parwan province, an official said on Wednesday.
The crash took place Tuesday night at around 10:00pm in Ahmadzai locality, Saifullah Baidar, the town’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the drone was on surveillance mission in the area, where it crashed all of a sudden. He would not say anything about the cause of the crash.
But Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the group’s fighters had downed the unmanned aircraft. Foreign forces have yet to comment on the incident.
