ALP commander among 3 injured in Kunduz explosion
KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Three Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel, including their commander, were injured as a result of an explosion in northern Kunduzprovince, officials said on Friday.
The incident took place on Thursday night when the magnetic bomb attached to an ALP vehicle went off in the Madrasa-i-Khyaban area on the outskirts of Kunduz City, the governor’s spokesman said.
Abdul Wasi Basil told Pajhwok Afghan News the ALP commander for Chardara district was those wounded in the blast. The injured, two of them in critical condition, were taken to a Kunduz hospital.
