Explosion rocks Kabul, injuring a driver
KABUL (Pajhwok): A magnetic bomb attacked to a police vehicle exploded on Monday in the 16th police district of Kabul, an official said.
The bomb went off at around 10am in the 1st Macro Ryan locality, the Kabul crime branch chief, Brig. Gen. Faridoon Obaidi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the explosion caused no casualties, giving no information about financial losses. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
However, a witness, Sulaiman said as the police vehicle parked near the gate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, five minutes later the magnetic bomb was detonated, injuring the driver of the vehicle.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the bombing.
