20 Infrastructure Projects Completed in Ghor Province
At a cost of AFN 16,592,700 – funded by the National Solidarity Programme of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) 20 development projects have lately been completed in Shahrak and Tolak districts of Ghor province.
According to NSP Provincial Manager of Ghor province, these development projects include the construction of irrigation reservoirs, water-intakes, retaining walls, gabion walls, community centers, gravelling rural roads, extension of water supply networks and excavation of wells.
Approximately, 1,433 families in various communities have been able to get access to basic human needs upon completion of these projects.
Since its inception in Ghor province, the NSP has been able to execute 3,350 development projects in various sectors including transport, water and sanitation, irrigation, power, livelihoods, education, etc while the work of tens of other projects is currently in progress.
