302kg of drugs seized from vehicle in Uruzgan
TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Police on Thursday claimed recovering more than 300 kilograms of drugs from a vehicle in central Uruzgan province.
Provincial police chief Brig. Gen. Ghulam Sakhi Roghlewani said the drugs were confiscated on Wednesday night during a search in Sara Kala area on the outskirts of Tirinkot, the provincial capital.
He said the drugs included 274 kg of opium and 28 kg of heroin. Two persons, including the driver, were detained in connection with the seizure, he said.
