Buildings for 2 Faryab district health clinics completed
MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Construction works on buildings for two health clinics have been completed at a cost of 26 million afghanis provided by India in Qaisar and Pashtun Kot districts of northwestern Faryab province, an official said on Friday.
Dr. Maroof Samar, the public health director, told Pajhwok Afghan News one of the buildings was completed in Chal Gazi locality of Qaisar district at a cost of 12 million afghanis and the second in Kata Qala area of Pashtun Kot costing 14 million afghanis.
Dr. Mah Jan, in charge of the Chal Gazi clinic, said earlier the clinic was housed in two shops and had no building of its own. He said the building would help improve the clinic’s services.
Abdul Rassoul, a resident of Chal Gazi locality said, patients had to face improper environment at the district health centre when it had been without a building of its own.
