Paktika revenues increased by 21 pc
SHARAN (Pajhwok): The revenues of the southeastern Paktika province have been increased by 21 percent this year comparing to previous year, officials said on Saturday.
Paktika Governor Aminullah Shariq addressed a press conference that the revenues of the province have been increased by 21 percent due to the establishment of district offices of the revenue department in seven districts of the province.
The revenue department head, Mohammad Naseer Ibrahimkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News, the revenue managers in the seven districts would also collect the revenue of 10 other neighbouring districts in the province.
Without mentioning the exact figure regarding the revenue of the current year and last year, he said the revenues of the province have been increased by 21 percent.
The income has been increased due to the prevention of smugglings and escape from taxes in the province, a resident of the province, Akbar Rahil said.
