Indian premier arrives to warm welcome in Kabul
KABUL (Pajhwok): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kabul on Friday morning to inaugurate the new building for Afghan parliament constructed with the financial support from New Delhi.
Modi flew into Kabul arrived at 5:30am when President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and other senior officials rolled out a red carpet for the visiting dignitary.
In addition to the inauguration of the parliament building, Modi will meet unity government leaders and former president, Hamid Karzai. He may announce more Indian assistanceto Afghanistan.
