FARAH (Pajhwok): The bodies of two police were found on Saturday a day after they were kidnapped by unknown gunmen from the provincial capital of western Farah province, an official said.

The two policemen had visited a recreation park in Farah city on Friday afternoon when they were kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Khairabad area, Farah police chief Brig Gen. Nooryalai Abdyani told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Their bodies were found on Saturday morning dumped in the same area, the police chief said, adding the policemen had been shot to death. The two cops were stationed in Bakwa and Shibkoh districts but they lived with families in Farah City.
