Judiciary can help society prosper, says Khost governor
KHSOT CITY (Pajhwok): The governor of southeastern Khost province on Monday said the judiciary could bring about prosperity to the society through its independent and impartial verdicts in accordance with the country’s laws.
Kukam Khan Habibi was addressing a gathering in which the new appellant court head, Mohammad Afzal Mullakehl, was introduced.
Habibi said by implementing laws, the judiciary department could bring about reforms and maintain social justice in the country.
With free and impartial decisions, he said judges could help the society prosper, he said hoped the newly-appointed appellant court head would perform his duty with courage and honesty and in coordination with other related organs.
Mullakhel said he would perform his duty in accordance with the law and regulations and based on Islamic and national responsibly.
He said they would pay more attention to law enforcement without any discrimination. Mullakhel added he had served in judiciary departments of various provinces.
