10 civilians kidnapped from Zabul freed, says NDS
KABUL (Pajhwok): The spy agency on Thursday said 10 civilians who were kidnapped last month on a highway in southern Zabul province had been released from their captors.
A statement from the National Directorate of Security (NDS)’s media office in Kabul said the released individuals would be reunited with their families soon.
The statement issued no further details.
It merits a mention here that some time ago gunmen killed seven people including three women in Ghazni province after kidnapping them from southern Zabul province, an incident that sparked protests by thousands of people in Kabul.
