Afghan Taliban leader treated at Lahore cancer hospital
Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman and SKMCH founder, was quoted as saying Thursday the Taliban movement had written him a letter of gratitude for the leader's treatment at his hospital.
Speaking to a private TV channel, the cricketer-turned-politician said he came to learn of the senior Taliban leader’s treatment at his hospital only when he received the letter of thanks from the insurgent group.
In his interview with GEO TV, Khan said many people from Afghanistan came to the SKMCH -- known for its state-of-the-art equipment and professional commitment -- for medical treatment.
