Children, women among 25 wounded in Ghazni collision
GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least 25 people were wounded in a traffic accident in the Ab Band district of southern Ghazni province on Thursday, the second incident in the past 24 hours, an official said.
Mohammadullah Ahmadi, the traffic department chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the crash took place on the Kabul-Kandahar Highway in Todi area at around 9:00am.
He said a passenger bus ploughed into a truck and caught fire as a result of the collision. Two women and three children were among the wounded.
On Wednesday, three people were killed and 22 others wounded in a similar collision on the busy highway. Most accidents are linked to rash driving.
