900 students appear in Paktika university entrance test
No candidate’s right would be compromised, officials promised, saying the entry test took place in Sharan, the provincial capital.
Gul Rahman, a resident of Sarobi district who appeared in the test, told Pajhwok Afghan News the students sat the examination in a peaceful environment.
Paktika Governor Aminullah Shariq said no one had the right to interfere in the test or create problems for students. The exam involve 900 high school graduates.
He insisted the exam was held in a transparent manner. “The rights of all candidates for admissions will be protected,” the governor assured.
Ustad Rasuli, head of the delegation sent from Kabul to supervise the exam,also acknowledged said the test was free of fraud and irregularities.
