Rocket hits microfinance bank in Charikar; no casualties
CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A rocket fired by militants hit a microfinance bank in the central province of Parwan, causing no casualties, an official said on Saturday.
The Aga Khan Microfinance Bank’s building in Charikar, the capital of Parwan came under the rocket attack, said the provincial police chief, Mohammad Zaman Mamozai.
No one suffered casualties in the attack, he said, without blaming any group for firing the rocket.
A resident of the area, Shamsuddin, said he heard gunfire after the rocket attack. Officials of the bank, refusing to comment on the incident, did not start work until noon.
