KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Nearly 100 government officials including Ministry of Public Healthinfo-icon workers on Thursday donated blood to the victims of Wednesday’s suicide attack in Kabul.

Six people were killed and 25 others wounded when a suicide attacker struck a minibus carrying employees of TOLO news channel on Wednesday evening at 5:30pm in the Allauddin intersection in Kabul.

After donating blood for the injured at Istiqlal hospital, deputy public health minister Dr. Ahmad Jawad Osmani said many officials of the ministry had come to the hospital to donate blood.

Civil societyinfo-icon activist Dr. Din Mohammad Shakib said the Public Health Ministry officials rejected violence and shared their grief with the victims by donating blood for the wounded people.

“Enemies of the country cannot derail democracy and justice by planting fear in the hearts of people through terrorist attacks. We will continue our struggle against terrorism,” he said.
