10 police killed by Taliban at Chinartu checkpoint in Uruzgan

The incident took place in Chinartu district on Monday night, the town’s administrative chief, Malem Faiz Mohammad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the insurgents, aided by a Taliban-linked policeman, killed the 10 security personnel, including thecheckpoint commander, Zainullah.
Mohammad believed the police official might have been poisoned before being shot to death.
