Women among 15 injured in Wardak collision
KABUL (Pajhwok): Fifteen people were injured on Friday when a van and a car collided head-on on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in central Maidan Wardak province.
The collision occurred in Kashmiran area on the outskirts of Maidan Shahr, the provincial capital, the governor’s spokesman, Tooryalai Himmat, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said nine people were slightly injured in the crash and six others, including two women, sustaining grave injuries were taken to hospital.
Traffic officials blamed the accident on reckless driving.
