2 policemen, civilian injured in Pul-i-Alam bombing
PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two policemen and a civilian were injured as a result of a remote-controlled bomb blast in Pul-i-Alam, the capital of central Logar province, an official said on Monday.
A police vehicle, parked in front of the New Kabul Bank branch, was hit by the bomb at around 12:30pm, the governor’s spokesman, Saleem Saleh, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Two policemen and a civilian were injured in the blast. They were rushed to hospital, he said.No one has so far been detained in connection with the explosion.’
All the injured were brought to the Pul-i-Alam Civil Hospitalin stable condition, said hospital director Ashiqullah Majidi.
A shopkeeper in the area, Zubair, said they were having launch when the heavy explosion occurred.No militant group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
