Customs station computerised to spur cross-border trade
PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A customs station in Kurram Agency has been computerised to facilitate Afghan-Pakistan border trade and ensure transparency, the government says.
Land has been acquired for establishing modern customs stations in Kharlachi, Borki and Tri Mangal areas the Durand Line, a government press statement said.
Following the installation of one customs online system, the Kharlachi station has been linked with computers all over Pakistan, enabling exporters and importers to get all facilities at the border.
