Bomb-making factory destroyed in Ghazni
KABUL (Pajhwok): A bomb-making factory of Taliban insurgents was destroyed during a raid by the personnel of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in southern Ghazni province, the intelligence agency said on Thursday.
The factory was destroyed on Wednesday as a result of an operation by the intelligence personnel in the Andar district of Ghazni, a statement from NDS said.
Explosives placed on a motorbike, seven jerry canes of explosives and eight missiles were recovered from the place, the statement added.
“The NDS personnel struggle to dismiss the bad aims of the enemies of Afghanistan in any parts of the country,” the source said.
The militants intended to use the explosives for carrying out attacks on Ghazni City, but the personnel destroyed the factory where the explosives were kept, the statement added.
