3 dozen illegal Afghan migrants detained near Sofia
KABUL (Pajhwok): Three dozen migrants carrying no identity documents and claiming to be Afghan citizens have been detained in Bulgaria, a news report said on Sunday.
The arrests were made on the southeastern outskirts of Sofia on Saturday, reported quoted the Bulgarian Ministry of the Interior as saying.
According to novinte.com, the 11 men, 15 women and 13 children were arrested on Trakia motorway near the village of Gorni Lozen. Three Bulgarians, who drove the vehicles packed with illegal migrants, were also held.
