Pakistan Army chief inquires after wounded ANA soldier
PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Pakistan army chief on Sunday visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the northwestern city of Peshawar and enquired after an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier.
Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Lt. Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted ANA soldier Alamzeb with a head injury was evacuated from Bajaur on February 25 by the Pakistan Army.
In a goodwill gesture, Gen. Raheel Sharif visited the soldier who was wounded in terrorist gunfire in Afghanistan. Alamzeb was brought to the Khar Hospital in Bajaur before being shifted to the military hospital in Peshawar.
