5 men detained on drug-trafficking charges, says CJTF
KABUL (Pajhwok): Police and detective organs have detained five people in connection with trafficking more than a tonne of drugs and 880 litres of alcoholic beverages, the Criminal Justice Task Force (CJTF) said on Tuesday.
A statement from CJTF said the men were detained in Kabul, Nangarhar and Paktia provinces with eight kilograms of heroin, 1,126 kilograms of hashish, 881 litres of alcoholic beverages and a vehicle.
Cases against the detainees have been sent to the CJTF for investigations, the statement added, without giving further details.
