Handicraft exhibition gets underway in Kabul
Different types of handicrafts, including socks, gloves, garments, embroidered clothes, beaded products, carpets and other hand-made items were displayed.
One participant in the event, an initiative of the Sabah Association to mark Nawroz, said such expos were useful in marketing handicrafts that could play a key role in women’s empowerment.
Husna said hundreds of Kabul residents as well as foreign nationals purchased the products of their choice during the show.
