30 Taliban perished, bombs making factories destroyed in Helmand airstrikes
LASHKARGHA (Pajhwok): Thirty Taliban were killed and seven others wounded in foreign forces overnight airstrikes on two Taliban’s compounds of mine making in southern Helmand province, officials said on Friday.
Col. Mohammad Rasoul Zazai, spokesman for 215 Maiwand Military Corp, told Pajhwok Afghan News foreign forces targeted the Taliban bomb making factories in the 5th block locality of Marja district.
Police Chief Brig. Gen. Abdul Rahman Sarjang confirmed the airstrike but had no information about causalities.
Abdul Ali, the resident of locality, said at least 60 Taliban have been killed and wounded in the foreign forces air raid.
Taliban have not yet comment over the foreign forces air strikes.
