Paktika teenager detained with pistol, hand-grenades
SHARANA (Pajhwok): Police on Saturday detained a 17-year-old boy with a pistol and two hand-grenades in southeastern Paktika province.
Provincial National Directorate of Security chief Col. Nisar Ahmad Abdur Rahimzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the teenager was a resident of Chakan village of Sharana, the provincial capital. He wanted to kill the commander of a police post in Chakan village.
He said a pistol and two grenades had been recovered from the boy who had confessed to his intention of killing the commander.
