Process to hire rural development directors begins
KABUL (Pajhwok): The process to hire rural rehabilitation and development directors for all the 34 provinces kicked off Tuesday through a competitive and open exam, an official said.
Deputy Rural Rehabilitation and Development Minister Atiqullah Khawasi told a press conference here that 800 candidates had applied for the positions in 34 provinces.
After assessment of their documents and experience, 170 shortlisted applicants would appear in the written test, he said.
Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Services Commission director Ahmad Massoud Tokhi welcomed the programme of Capacity Building for Result (CBR) that he said would improve government departments.
