KABUL (Pajhwok): Faizullah Zaki, a close aide of First Vice-President General Abdul Rashid Dostum, has been appointed as deputy National Security Advisor (NSA), a government source said on Tuesday.
Zaki, a former member of the lower house, Wolesi Jirga, from northern Jawzjan province and a senior member of the Junbish-i-Milli Islami Afghanistan party, is due to be officially introduced to a ceremony slated for Wednesday, the source told Pajhwok Afghan News.
