A dozen insurgents eliminated in Ghazni offensive: MoI
KABUL (Pajhwok): At least a dozen militants have been killed during an operation by Afghan security forces in southern Ghazni province the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Wednesday.
A statement from MoI said police and Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers conducted the raid in the Andar district of the province on Tuesday night.
At least 12 insurgents, including rebel commander Mullah Yousuf, were killed and seven others wounded during the operation in the Sepa village of the district.
The ministry confirmed three policemen were also wounded in the offensive.
