Pakistan confirms postponement of CEO’s trip
PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan on Thursday confirmed the postponement of Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah’s visit, scheduled for May 2.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Nafees Zakaria announced the postponement of Abdullah’s visit during a weekly media briefing in Islamabad.
A day earlier, the CEO tweeted that after initial evidence of Tuesday’s suicide attack in Kabul, he had decided to postpone his visit to Pakistan.
In response Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s invitation, Abdullah agreed to pay an official trip to the neighbouring country.
