Militants execute man on spy charge in Tagab
MAHMUD RAQI (Pajhwok): Militants killed a civilian on the charge of spying for Afghan government in the Tagab district of central Kapisa province, officials and people said on Friday.
Insurgents killed a civilian on Thursday in the Miyakhel area of Tagab district, a resident of the district, Mohammada Jan, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
There are some families from other districts, living in Tagab, when they travel to their own areas, militants are thinking they spy for the government, another resident of the district, Faisal said.
Asad Agha Safi, the Tagab local police commander, said that the slain person, Tila Gul had affiliation with Taliban, but recently Taliban suspected him whether he was spying for government forces.
However, a local Taliban commander, Ghorzang Safi, said the person would share their information with security personnel, so the commission of the group decided to execute him.
The governor’s spokesman, Qais Qadari, confirmed the death, saying the person has so far shared no information with Afghan forces.
