Taliban’s deputy district chief among 8 held in Nangrahar
KABUL (Pajhwok): National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel have arrested eight Taliban militants, including the group's deputy district chief for Rodat district of eastern Nangrahar province, the spy service said on Saturday.
The arrests were made during a raid in Sarkeli village of Rodat district, the NDS statement said, but did not mention the time. It added Taliban’s deputy district chief, Abdul Walli aka Mansour, and his seven friends were arrested during the raid, accusing them of staging terrorist attacks in the district.
