9 killed as uprising group commanders clash in Balkh
MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least nine people have been killed during an internal clash between uprising groups’ commanders in northern Balkh province, an official said on Sunday.
Provincial police chief, Col. Abdur Razzaq Qadiri, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Bakhtari area of Kashandi district Saturday night.
He said nine people were killed and two others wounded -- from loyal to commanders Abdul and Abdul Ayaz. Police have arrived in the area and captured eight supporters of the commanders.
