CEO to sign agreement, MoUs during China visit
KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah is expected to sign an agreement and two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) during his trip to China, an official said on Saturday.
Javid Faisal, deputy spokesman of the CEO, said Abdullah, at the head of a high-level delegation, would leave Kabul for Beijing on Sunday.
He said Abdullah was visiting China at the invitation of the country’s prime minister.
The CEO will be accompanied by the ministers of foreign affairs, commerce and industry, urban development, higher education, telecommunications and information technology, mines and petroleum and a number of traders, he said.
Abdullah would meet the Chinese prime minister, president and a number of other officials during his trip, Faisal added.
He said the CEO would sign one agreement and two MoUs on improving business relations with China.
