Blast hits Kapisa teacher training centre, 6 injured
MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Six people, including three women, were injured in a blast in front of a teacher training center in the capital of central Kapisa province on Wednesday.
Education Director Mohammad Nasim Sapai told Pajhwok Afghan News the teacher training center was run from a rented house and the landmine had been planted at the house gate.
The blast wounded five students of the centre, including three females, and a guard, he said.
But the governor’s spokesman, Qais Qadiri, said three girls and five boys had been wounded in the explosion.
Mirza Ahmad Reja, head of the civil hospital in Mahmood Raqi, said the wounded guard was in critical condition and had been evacuated to Kabul for better treatment.
So far no one has claimed the responsibility for the incident.
