Brothers among 3 dead in Khost night raid
KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Three people, including two former soldiers of Afghan National Army (ANA), have been killed during Afghan Special Force Unit overnight operation in southeastern Khost province, a resident of locality said on Sunday.
Syed Wali, a local resident told Pajhwok Afghan News the special forces also known as campaign forces made announcement by loudspeakers in Madkhelo locality of Sabro district that they were conducted a search operation and asked the resident to put down their weapons.
He said security officials faced resistance from a house in the area during operation. As a result of exchange of firing two brothers and their cousin was killed.
Karim, a former ANA soldiers and member of the house from where security officials faced resistance said they did not involve in gunfire with security officials.
Governor Spokesman Mobariz Zadran confirmed the incident and killing of three people. He did go into further details.
According to Mubarez, the family had an old enmity and some years back their house was attack by a car bombing.
