Wind up businesses before Eid, Afghans in Kohat told
PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Afghan citizens living in the Kohat district of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have been issued a final warning to wind up their businesses, a media report said on Sunday.
The warning came from local public representative Taimoor Ali Khan, who told the Afghan nationals to shut their business on handcarts and as shopkeepers before the arrival of Eidul Fitr, according to Dawn.
Khan, the tensil nazim, called the Afghans living in the area a burden on local food, water and electricity resources. He told the Afghan nationals no foreigner would be allowed in the city after Eid.
