4 Daesh fighters killed in Nangarhar drone strike
JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least four Daesh -- or so called Islamic State (IS) -- rebels have been killed in a drone strike in eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Thursday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the airstrike took place in the Parshakhel area of Kot district late on Wednesday.
He said four Daesh militants were killed and their weapons and ammunition destroyed in the attack.
Police spokesmanCol. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal confirmed the incident, saying civilians suffered no casualties in the raid.
Daesh has not yet commented on the airstrike.
