500 Afghan students to get professional, technical training in India
KABUL CITY (Pajhwok): As many as 500 students of technical and professional institutes administered by the Ministry of Education (MoE) would be dispatched to Indian for two year education and training, an official said on Thursday.
Younis Arin, public relation officer of the Professional and Technical Studies Directorate (PTSD), said graduates from 211 to 2015 with average percentage of 82.5 of the four semester markers would be eligible to appear in the examination in Nangarhar, Balkh, Herat, Takhar, Paktia, Kandahar and Bamyan provinces.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News 500 students with to marks would be provided with the Voucher scholarship being funded by the World Bank (WB).
Of the 500 candidates 25 percent quota has been allocated for girls and students with disabilities, he said.
